birdsong, grand beach p. park manitoba, can.

Since spring and summer is leaving us decided to put three videos here
that will remind us of that time.Have fun guessing some of these
songs. The videos were taken in June this year at the location in the title.
Sorry for the video quality and put them on Utube because of there
size.

Hi Darrell,

In your first recording I hear:
Common Yellowthroat (wichity-wichity), Black-and-White Warbler, Red-winged Blackbird, and Yellow Warbler.

2nd recording:
Mourning Warbler (main fore ground song), Yellow Warbler, Song Sparrow, Red-eyed Vireo (possibly another Vireo sp.), Black-and-White Warbler, and Northern Waterthrush. (there might be a Blue Jay in there too?)

And for the 3rd recording:
Red-eyed Vireo, Black-and-White Warbler, Northern Waterthrush, Veery, White-throated Sparrow, Least Flycatcher, and Canada Goose. (not sure, but I think I might have heard a Yellow or Yellow-rumped Warbler in there somewhere)

Hope some others will be along soon to give it a try. And wow! What an awesome place to bird! Lucky you...

Good ear, Tayler!

I think I also heard a Redstart in the third recording.

Way to go Tayler.Mourning warbler was a surprise! Not very good with my
birdsong i.d thats why I record them and try and figure them out later
with my birdsong cds.Did see a Mourning warbler once while walking down that
path! That walkway is part of the Trans Canada Trail and visit it often near
my brothers house.Very wonderful place ,lots of different habitats so there
is always surprises.
