Hello from San Antonio
Texas, that is (we don't ALL say "Howdy")...
I'm a fairly serious longtime birder from Central Texas. The optics reviews were why I stumbled across this site, much good info here. John |

Thanks for the welcome folks
I do have a question though, I posted on a "Fujinon CD 7 x42" thread a bit ago which I thought was in "Others" on the binocular forum. I can find it by searching my name but cannot find it under a subforum. Neither does the thread itself tell me where it is other than.... Home > Forums > Photography, Digiscoping, Art & Equipment > Binoculars > Fujinon 7x 42 CD Anyone know where it is? (Sorry if I'm overlooking something obvious) John |

Okay, one thing you will find out eventually, is that once you post in a thread, that thread will not appear when you click on "new posts" because the thread assumes you have already seen it
![]() Now, if you scroll down on the main forum page to "binoculars" in that category there is a sub-forum (in smaller print). If you click on "other" in that sub-forum, it will bring you to the most recent/active threads and wallah! There your post is on the second page of that thread ![]() Does all this make sense? ![]()

Well KC, I'm glad SOMEBODY can see it, all I get on the "Others" board from today are the following topics: Cabela's Euro mljohn Today 02:21 Fujinon 10x42 CD (this thread with 7 replies, none of them mine) Tero Today 01:21 and then it goes on to... Vortex Fury and Stokes Broadwing Yesterday 23:45 by raptorbfl and on down the list... Recommend Monocular? Friday 19th October 2007 08:26 by 2520years etc...etc... Odd, I can see this thread and one I posted on the "Texas" page just fine. The only thing I can think of is that I found the "Fujininon CD 7x42 thread via "google", maybe by accessing it that way I messed up how the software sends it to my IP address (???). It does make me worry what other topics I might not be able to see. John Edited to add: Wierd, I just posted again on that 7 x 42 Fujinon thread and it appears on the "Forums" list page as the last post in the "Binoculars" forum. Durned if I can find it once I open the "Binoculars" forum though, even under "Others". Last edited by Sharpshin : Sunday 21st October 2007 at 04:32. |
