Unfortunately not all the news posted on the rarities comitee website is good...:

Hopefuly the vast majority of the birds managed to get away...

Another sad sight in this world, and to know that they are rare too.

It is sad, but at leat the authorities have done something positive and confiscated their equipment and (hopefully) prosecute these individuals.
