One of only two pairs breeding on the Isle of Man
  2. Gannet

    Gannet

Is there a more exciting spectacle than a Gannet feeding frenzy (or a harder one to capture on camera?). I had to go manual focus as not even the 1D could keep up with these birds travelling at speeds in excess of 40 mph
  3. Gannet

  4. Red-necked Wallaby

    Red-necked Wallaby

There is a wild population of these locally. They originally escaped from a zoo back in the late '70's and are now thriving, but difficult to see.

  15. Walking to Snaefell

We went looking for Dotterel. Didn't see any but, I took this when we were walking back to the car. The far rise is the highest point on the island - Snaefell.

  19. Setting up home

    Setting up home

The Arctic Terns have started arriving back on the island. I went to get some pics before they start nesting
  20. Dunlin

This little fellow just sat and let me get quite close - until some dogs off leads scared him off!
  21. Orange Tip
