    The reserve have been re-introducing this bird to the reserve but I did not see as many as I usually see there.

    I have taken quite a few images of ruff during this trip but this is one of my favourites, the bird had just flown in and seemed a little nervous towards the bird hide.

    Amazing being on the Albuferra marsh when the nightingale are singing, trying to capture a photo of one out in the open is a different matter

    Took me a while where to find these as I kept hearing them or seeing them in flight, with a little bit of knowledge from another birdwatcher I managed to capture this image with a bit of patience.

    Found this chap singing his heart out. Sadly a good couple of hundred yards away so this is a major crop

    Found this bird at the S'albufera in Majorca. I spent quite a time sat in the hide waiting for the bird to come closer, sadly a family entered the hide and the father proceeded to shove his camera out the window and spooked the bird
