Agree with both.
The slaty capped flycatcher escaped my thoughts. But the black ear cap is visible on the pic.

What features are important in separating the golden headed from the pavonine quetzal? A little off-topic but just genuinely curious.
Another rason is elevation, they don't really overlap with Golden-headed being mid-upper elevations and Pavonine being in Amazonian lowlands,
