Good to hear that so many have been seen. I wonder if it will become relatively easy to view them in that area, once travel becomes possible.
 
Thanks for sharing this encouraging find, Lancy! Very minor wave action, so probably inside the bay. Appears to be an area that would be easy to get for anyone who happens to be in the Qingdao area.

The number is encouraging and there might be more. I was told birds moved around in Jiaozhou Bay area but accessibility doesn't seem an issue. Getting in touch with local birders would be helpful. Just wait when pandemic is over 🤞
