Algarve Lark (1 Viewer)

Taken this morning at Vale Santo near Sagres. There were Thekla Larks and Skylarks singing at the time so both birds definitely present. There are also Short Toed larks in this area but it's getting late in the year for them. In any case the breast markings on this bird discount Short Toed I think.

There was a Thekla Lark nearby, which looked a little duller, and had a raised crest.

By elimination then, this suggests Skylark to me but I can't really make out the white sides of the tail - but the light wasn't good - it was quite early. So anyway, I would go for Skylark, but any correction/confirmation would be appreciated
