Allowing download from app to phone (1 Viewer)

Dear all

When I try to download policy documents for an car hire excess insurance app, I get this message. How do I give permission?

App presumably hasn't been given permission to make changes to the phone's data and storage. Check your phone's system settings > apps > [app's name] > permissions.

I tried that. But there doesn't seem to be a way to change permissions apart from for the camera and microphone.
