2 days ago I walked around the Inland Sea (near Treaddur) and was amazed to see at least 50-100 Sandwich Terns nesting (or at least roosting) on the rocks.....some a mere 50 metres off land. We watched some returning with Sand Eels.
I have walked the Inland Sea perhaps 6 or 8 times and never seen Terns there before.....does anyone know it it is normal?
