Ball Mason Jar Feeders (1 Viewer)

Lessee if this works...
I like making feeders, they generally work better than the commercial variety. These little mason jars, available in the canning section of Wal*Mart for five bucks, are part of some kick-butt feeders. Small, easy to clean, the hummers like them, tough. The only problem in making them was finding the bands, also five bucks. The lids are from vitamin jars, peanut butter jars or needlepoint plastic. I have about six of these scattered around the compound right now, and a ton of Rubythroats to show for it!
