I am headed to Austria soon and am hoping to find a bird guide in the Salzburg area. Does anyone know of a guide in the area? I can't find anyone online.

There are probably Austrian members who could help you more but here are some suggestions to get you started.

I don't know of any guides in Austria but an email to Birdlife Austria may yield better results than Birdforum. The website below has sightings and a list of names and email addresses of people who could help. You can choose English as your language.

Alternatively, you could have a look at Birdingpal although there doesn't seem to be anyone in that part of Austria. An email to one of the people listed there might get you the name of a guide, however.

I do know not any one from this area.
Not far from the border is lake Chiemsse in Germany, which can be interesting the whole year.
