Another species sent by my partner which I have zero experience of - the black bill has led to my thinking its a blue-winged teal, which was my initial ID - but it does seem rather long and shoveler-like so perhaps it's a cinnamon? Both species recorded on eBird from this site.4742A63D-5D24-4444-8593-4E0ECD12A897.jpeg

To me it looks kinda like Green-winged, but perhaps it's too light.

If it must be between cinnamon or Blue-winged it's the latter (grayer, white at bill base, smaller bill, more defined eye-line)

Thanks - she sent me pics of green-winged she'd managed to ID and the longer bill of this bird and different appearance had her confused, so I'm leaning on consensus so far towards blue-winged.
