Curlew Ring Reading (1 Viewer)

Struggling to make out the text on the ring. Looks different in every shot. I'm fairly sure the last letter is P, but first and middle are not clear to me. Maybe AUP???

Also, I think this is a Norwegian bird, but if anyone has more info, that would be appreciated. Bird photographed in Fife, today.
