Picture taken on 06/08/22 at an acidic moorland pond in Lancashire. A range of species seen but the main species being Common Hawker
I am wondering about the lack of colouration and also the behaviour. The dragonfly stayed half submerged for over 1 hour with very little movement
Would this be a newly emerged? There was no nymph case to be seen
Any information appreciated
