Hi people,

I've been on a road trip this last May/June through several states of the US.

I filmed this Empidonax flycatcher at Grand Teton National Park:

I need somehelp with its ID. The bird was in a pine forest, and of course the Grand Tetons mean it was at a high altitude.

Fortunately it ws calling/singing a bit!

Help!

Best regards,

Pieter de Groot Boersma

P.s.: Got another one video here, of an Empidonax, filmed at Medicine Bow National Forest, south-east Wyoming:

And if someone can help me with the identities of all the Chipmunks in these clips of all the mammals I've filmed during my trip, much appreciated!

Calling makes it easy if you have the time to go through the calls. Try xeno-canto.org. Check Cordilleran and Alder first.

I don't see the really obvious eyering I'd expect of a Cordilleran, but I can't listen to the sound right now. Looks better for a Dusky Flycatcher to me.
