I have a feather to ID. I live on Tallebudgera Creek Gold Coast QLD Australia and I love birds but am not a birder. In the 8 months I have lived here I now have a list of 37 different species that I know the names of! This feather looks like it might come from an owl or a raptor there is a family of Brahminy Kites I see often. Thanks so much P.S. I found this site Powerful Owl feather identification guide and I believe what I have is a feather from a tawny frogmouth
