Female House or Purple Finch? Eastern Ontario, Canada (1 Viewer)

Saw this female finch (I think) today here in eastern Ontario, Canada, but can't determine if it's a house or purple finch. Any thoughts?

House Finch. Thick bill (less sharply pointed than Purple). Female Purple Finch would show a more contrasting face pattern with a clear eyebrow set off by darker areas. House finch is pretty uniformly streaked with fine streaking on the head.

Not the best angle, but note rounded top edge to upper mandible (straight in purple finch). Unsexable recently-fledged juvenile (note bits of down remaining).
