Flying Stoats! (1 Viewer)

Have been away for a few days to Eastbourne where this am, I was walking around Whitbread hollow and perchanced this Stoat bolting into the shrubbery adjacent to the green sward (c100m away).
Wishing that I’d seen it before it dived into cover, the quarry “rabbit”, suddenly shot out of cover and ran towards.
Thus I fired off a few shots at the “rabbit”, which upon inspection morphed into a Stoat in full flight…..never did see the rabbit.🤣

Great shot of a small mammal zipping along! Impressed that you were even able to get on it, fast reflexes indeed.
