Getting the proportions right... (1 Viewer)

I am working on an art/educational project turning regarding eagles.
I'm trying to make realistically looking eagle kites.
below are two rather basic sketches, a white-tailed eagle and a Steller's eagle.
Ornithologists has confirmed that the White-tailed eagle has the right proportions, but what about the Steller's?
Should the wings be longer? The size difference between the species is not important here.
The plan is to draw them full size, feather by feather on an iPad pro, and end with a file that can be printed on a kite sail, f.ex. made of Tyvek.

Hoping for help here.
