Golden Eagle ID Scotland (1 Viewer)

I spotted this bird above the skyline, it looked huge and was soaring to great heights, I'm thinking it is a Golden Eagle, the bird was distant so pictures not very good, Galloway hills Scotland, any help appreciated.
