Grey-white Swallow at Lake Nasser South Egypt on 25th of April (1 Viewer)

The image of a flying swallow was made at Lake Nasser close Abu Simbel near the border to Sudan. I was thinking of Rock Martin (Hirundo fuligula). But the white rump and the dark brown breast irritate me. Could it be Plain Martin (Riparia paludicola)??

That certainly looks like Plain Martin and wrong for Rock Martin. There is a population in Sudan. I'm not sure how regular they get into Egypt.

THANKS for the quick response. this bird was in a huge flock of Sand Martins feeding on insects over reed along Lake Nasser shore

A quick search indicates that there are no records on eBird, some vague references to this species occurring but it isnt on the Egyptian List as of 2019 so this may be a significant record. Worth posting on eBird.
