Hello from a young birder (1 Viewer)

Hello, I'm a 14 year old birder who is quite passionate about birds. (130 lifers!) I've enjoyed watching birds for a while now (3 years) but I recently moved to Australia which really made me want to learn more about birds.

Welcome aboard Jeff and I hope you enjoy your visits with us :) 130 lifers already is a good thing.

Hi Jeff and welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. I do envy you, I was in my mid 40s before getting interested in this fantastic hobby.

Hi Jeff and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow (slightly older) birder! Mareeba sounds great for birding--very close to the rainforest, for example.

I sneakily read your account description!! (plus I'd done some armchair research of birding spots in Australia before, for my own pleasure)

Hello, another fellow beginner (although you sent really a beginner) I’m fourteen in a couple of days.
