I am a birding&forum newbie, although not really young anymore. I hope to improve my birding knowledge a bit in the years to come. But even if not - birding is fun and brings us in contact with nature, and that's all what counts.

Thank you all for your warm responses.
I am back from a trip to Lake Constance with many impressive views. Among them were two Golden Eagles (young and old), an Osprey and a flock of about 700 curlews.

And yes - it was fun
