So glad to find this site. We live on wooded property and had several beautiful Cardinals here until a several months ago…around the same time we hosted an army of hummingbirds, some who refused to leave until the middle of October. I have the same feeders out with the same mix. We currently have several random little birds; (I am far from an expert) titmice, chickadees, a lot of different woodpeckers, mourning doves, etc. But no sign of the cardinals for months. :( Any ideas?

Welcome to Birdforum. I hope you enjoy your visits.

Hopefully someone will be able to help.

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. Not sure why your Cardinals would have disappeared.

Hi Debbie and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
