I've been observing birds all my life. I have a particular fascination with Ospreys and Raptors. But I would like to broaden my knowledge and enjoyment of a greater variety of species. My current obsession are Cormorants and Shags. I've promised an article about Cormorants specifically, and have realised how very little I know about them. I'm working on it, which is how I came across this Forum. I broke my back a couple of years ago, so I have plenty of time to study as I repair myself. :)

Thank you for the warm welcome Delia. I'm like a child in a sweetshop at the moment. Thanks for the opus tip off. I'm making a cuppa and looking forward to exploring it. I'm on a 'bed rest' day today.
