Howdy (not how I normally greet, but thinking there may be other Texas Aggies on here - whoop)

I've appreciated nature all my life, but really got into serious birding in 2018 when I did a "420-acre" year surveying the property where I work. 270 daily surveys on my way to and from work at Moody Gardens main property as well as monthly, sometimes bi-monthly surveys at our golf course property. 210 species through the year at our main property and an additional 14 unique species at the Moody Gardens Golf Course.

Look forward to exploring this site and all the connections it offers.

cheers
greg

Hi Greg and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. I love the Galveston area, have only been there in the summer so the birding is not that great, it is much better in the winter - IMHO. You are quite close to some great spring birding!
