Good morning,

I though this could be Buff-bellied Hummingbird; the belly patch isn't always clearly visible apparently. But I'm not really sure.

Any ideas please?

Suggest Canivet's emerald. Buff-bellied has a reddish tail: that would be apparent here (even though the tail is covered up). We can tell the tail is dark (actually bluish).

Where in Yucatan? If on Cozumel island, it has its own species of Emerald (can't remember how to tell them apart!)

Very simply - if it's on Cozumel, it's Cozumel, if it's not on Cozumel, it's Canivet's

I meant can't tell from this pic! Cozumel Emerald is also found in Isla de Mullleres too. Both islands quite popular tourist spots, so the pic could easily be from there 🤷

Y quite different. This (op) image is quite like the ebird headline one with an unusually short tail.

The pic wasn't from Cozumel island. It was taken in the Valladolid area. Sorry I wasn't more specific on my description. Thank you all.
