For the past month or two I've been noticing this noise at night and early morning when I'm taking the Aussie puppy out. It's fairly country where we are, but I can't for the life of me, figure out what this is. It almost sound like a creaking tree.

second video. The sound is at like 2 seconds and again at 21. Volume up!!
 
It's not a tree; it's not a bird I recognize. My first guess would be some kind of frog. It's that time of year again.
