I went outside this morning, just before my first caffeine infusion of the day, to bring in my trail cam.
The new bed that it was overlooking, is made from 100% commercial compost.
I've been a bit surprised as to the paucity of fungi appearing since I built it. but this morning, WOW!
There were hundreds of these.
These are the best images I could get as they were already turning to black mush.
The caps were about 5mm diameter, and the stipe about 50mm long.
TIA

Thanks Butty
Apart from its size and general shape, the way it rapidly turned to black mush did make me think of shaggy inkcap.
I'll try and get out a bit earlier tomorrow and try and get better pics.
