Is this just a Catbird? Eastern Ontario, Canada. (1 Viewer)

I've seen hundreds of Catbirds, but when I saw this bird it struck me as something different. The beak looked all wrong. The bird appeared to be the same light gray color all over, with just slightly darker wings. And, finally, the bird was out in the open beside a busy path with people walking by within 10 feet. What self-respecting Catbird would behave like that?
