This may be a redundant post but I’m looking for recent guide experience with a local or cheaper tour provider. Hoping for a ~10 day trip to iguazu/pantanal area for spring of 2020. Any solid recommendations?

On the Argentinian side of Iguazu you could try Guy Cox http://www.toucanbirding.com
I went out around Iguazu / Urugua-i / Surucua with Guy a couple of years ago and we had a pretty good strike rate!
Looking at his website he might do the Brazilian side of Iguaçu as well actually....
