Maldives (1 Viewer)

Hia,
....if any..?

Cheers Joe

Ha ha- I had my worst ever bird trip list on any trip from the Maldives a few years ago- in fact I saw more animals flying and fish flying than birds (Sailfish, Spinner Dolphins, flying fish, fruit bats...)

Trip list in 10 days was:

1 Common Sandpiper

1 Grey Heron and

1 Watercock

until the perfect awfulness of the birding was spoiled by some Sooty Terns...

Lovely lovely place to be though..hopefully you will do better on the bird front!

Thanks for the reply Ed.
Was it the same time of year I might be going i.e. Sept/Oct....?
Joe

Hello there- it was April. I had a bit of a look for gen before I went (not that it was birding trip) and found very little- this is the best report I found. Some Caspian Plovers would be nice!

Or you are maybe at the right time to catch some Amur Falcons following the Globe Skimmers..

Thanx again Ed I'll have a look see at that report and IF we go I'll post my sightings.
