Two new series announced by the BBC:

Kingdom

6 x 60 minute episodes follow four animal groups, leopards, wild dogs, hyenas and lions in one Zambian location, filmed over four years.

I think we're looking at 2025 before it's transmitted.

Our Changing Planet

This ambitious programme will be broadcast over seven years covering changing environments in Iceland, California, Kenya, Maldives, Cambodia and Brazil.

Sounds like Springwatch going international.

2 x 60 minute episodes broadcast in April.

The first one presumably the ongoing relationship BBC has with South Luangwa National Park in Zambia.

Both sound very interesting and something to look out for in the future!

Mind you I am not encouraged by the blurb. Championing talent usually doesn't do what it says on the tin and opening up new worlds usually means nothing at all.
