Hi,

Please could you share your thoughts on the resale value of like new ZEISS Diascope 65 T* FL LT 2.6"/65mm Spotting Scope Kit?

I purchased this with the intent to watch the bald eagles and other raptors at Klamath Falls OR but since had to move I ended up using less than 5 times. It is in like new condition and still has all the paperwork and boxes. Lifetime warranty is transferrable. I would prefer to sell on a bird forum than on fleabay. I am not an expert at this and do not know what a fair price is. Other than everything in the original boxes, it does come with a protective sleeve for field use. It has no dings or scratches that I can see. It looks and operates in like new condition. I am currently in the SF Bay area.

Also any advice on the best place to list this so it could go to a good home.

Thank you.

Pierre

Hi,

welcome to BF, first of all...

I did a quick search of the last sold Diascopes 65 on ebay and I found an older green one with the older 15-45 zoom in Germany going for $1200 and a current black example with the current 15-56 zoom for $1500. The latter might have included a cheap tripod and head... didn't state but was shown on images...

After a few posts you can access the classifieds subforum in here which is the correct place to post a sale add...
