Tried for a Buff-breasted Sandpiper in Glos today but although it was probably still there it remained well hidden amongst the grass. Still managed to see a few new birds today.

Popped over to Norfolk with some mates and managed three new birds for the year.

Called into my Sutton Gault, Cambs, on Friday night on the way to my mates in Leiston, Suffolk. I got there late but managed to see the Glossy Ibis for 15 minutes before it flew off to roost.
