I managed to see and photograph a Red-throated Diver at Fairhaven Lake Lytham Lancashire 23/02/2015 and was a lifer for me. It was up at the North end of the lake near the Spitfire, I have posted a photo in the gallery.

Evening Pete, you have got the wrong link here it is of a Eurasian Skylark.

I have had a look at the other link and you have captured a great video of the Diver, many tfs.

Yes lovely footage I could hear those bitter february winds in the background it does,nt take long to get cosy in Doors and watch it on here.. :) otherwise on a fineday wrapped up well personally Its a wonderful Experience to Be hands on in what you do best.

Will go to see it Saturday but no reports of Shorelark and Great Grey Shrike recently.

Hi

I am planning on popping up this Sunday for the Diver is there are particular end of the lake it seems to stick to?

As for the Shore Lark the Fleetwood Bird Obs blog had a report of the bird on the 2nd March.

Tim.

Shore lark reported today at picnic site as per Birdguides

I have not seen the Diver on my last three visits so presume it as gone elsewhere.

Managed to catch up with Diver today it was asleep for the first hour or so but it did eventually wake up and came quite close in shore allowing for me to get a few shots.

Tim
