Robin Eggs in nest (1 Viewer)

Hello!

Robins have been using this nest for at least two years and this year they laid three eggs. They haven’t been on the eggs much and I think it’s due to our dog. This is our first season with the dog.

I checked the nest today as it’s been over three weeks since the eggs were laid and I haven’t seen any robins around. The eggs were broken. Did the robin mom or dad do this to the eggs? I’ve tried googling but can’t seem to find anything. I figured it wasn’t a predator or they would have eaten or taken the eggs with them.
