Off to SE Brazil in three weeks, was wondering if anyone knows the current situation for this species.

It seems the tour companies now go to a (presumably private?) site near Sao Jose dos Campos, but has anyone recently tried the "traditional" site near Mogi das Cruzes? Or have directions for any other current sites? Ebird gen suggests the Mogi site hasn't been visited recently (perhaps just a combination of the Sao Jose site and Rick Simpson now living back in the UK rather than them not still being there), but there is a recent sighting for a marsh that the map shows to be on the junction of roads SP-088 and SP-092. Is this an accurate location?

Thanks

Steve
