I picked these up today. Sears 10x50 Extra Wide Angle. Model 2531 Pretty nice binoculars. They are very clean, and the optics, while only "Fully Amber Coated" are pretty bright and sharp. The FOV is amazingly flat with a nice sweet spot. Mechanically very smooth.

Anyone else own these? How do you like them?

If the haze goes away, I'll take them and a few others out tonight.

I doubt that the 8.0 degree claimed field is accurate, or the magnification isn't 10x.

The eyepieces and prisms don't seem to be EWA.

Hi Joachim,
I can't for some reason access that site.
What measurement do they give?

But I make the distance 7 degrees 54 minutes or 7.9 degrees.

B.
