Quite a few little warblery things at Montreal Botanic gardens today and I'm a bit out of my depth with IDing them! My best guesses:

1. Just a chipping sparrow at a weird angle?
2. some... kind of warbler
3. nope, no idea on this one either
4. Philadelphia Vireo?
5. Magnolia Warbler?
6. Warbling Vireo?
7. another warbler...
8. Red-Eyed Vireo?
9. warbler......

I have additional photos of most of these birds if needed, and some have video clips

Iā€™m thinking (possible) 1st Winter Cerulean for 3 (long pp and no pale edging to tertials), Philadelphia Vireo for 4. and agree Magnolia for 5ā€¦.now having to lie down in a dark room...šŸ˜©

Here are my initial opinions:

1. Chipping Sparrow yes
2 and 3 (look like same bird): I'd have said a dull Bay-breasted, but the legs don't look very dark. Blackpoll seems like the next best option, despite the apparent lack of much streaking. Few other options have that combination of greenish plumage without bright yellow, short tail (eliminates Pine), and bold wing-bars.
4. One of those "in-between" birds that I'm not sure on (Philadelphia vs. Warbling Vireo).
5. Magnolia yes
6. Red-eyed Vireo
7. American Redstart yes
8. Red-eyed Vireo yes
9. Tennessee Warbler

Bay-breasted for me. I would expect blackpoll to have +/- orange legs. These are dull bluish-grey for me.

4: doesn't fact that throat / centre is pale and sides colourful make it warbling?
