Spring birding in Crete (2 Viewers)

Post-covid, our twice-postponed Crete trip is finally going ahead in late April and we are staying on the south coast for a week, near Plakias. Can anyone point me to some good resources for info on birding sites? I’m guessing that spring migration will be happening ……. thanks

Can't help with resources I'm afraid, but I can mention that we spent a fortnight in Plakias in late Apr / early May 1990, and found the village and surrounding area were pretty good just walking around (we didn't have a car). It's worth walking up the gorge behind Plakias, into the hill villages above, and along the coast in either direction. Hope you have a good trip.
