Sticky thread for best birding apps (1 Viewer)

I’m curious if anyone has used the Birds of New Guinea app and can report on it?

Birds in the Hand - the publishers of the (excellent) Birds of Peru app and the Birds of New Guinea app have also published a Birds of Ecuador app based upon the Ridgely field guide but purportedly with updated taxonomy. I gave it a try and it was so buggy as to be nearly unusable (most screen touches didn’t register, icons don’t load, sounds don’t play, etc), so requested and received a refund. Quite disappointing compared to the Peru app.
