Hi,
There are 3 relatively common swiftlet species in SG - 2 aerodramus spp. (which I understand are indistinguishable in flight) and the plume-toed swiftlet.
Are the pictures here indicative of the plume-toed swiftlet (I was told the wing shape here is somewhat indicative), and not the aerodramus spp.? The more diagnostic features of the white/spotted belly and dark rump are unfortunately not as clear in these pictures. But the angled wings look interesting, and different from the other aerodramus swiftlets it was flying with.
Thanks!
