Tenerife Pipit (1 Viewer)

beechwood

Well-known member
One year ago yesterday I saw this Pipit in scrubland alongside a road and conifer woodland in Vilaflor in Tenerife. I have been unable to decide whether it is a Berthelot's, Meadow or Tree Pipit. I favour a Bethelot's Pipit based on location but I believe the others can also be found here in the winter. The "dirty white supercillium" and "legs too far back" that my guide says are characteristic don't seem to fit so well. Can anyone help please?

Thank you,
Phil
