The Hornemann’s Arctic Redpolls of Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, 2013 (1 Viewer)

Fascinating report.

Great photos, and also video, especially at 45 secs when a heavily streaked bird enters the feeding frenzy and is periodically seen until the end of the footage. Is that an Arctic?

I agree, a very attractive species.

Hope you don't mind me asking you, what do you make of this very pale but heavily streaked and large-billed bird that over-wintered in England several years ago? It has split opinion right down the middle, between just being acceptable for Arctic, and Icelandic or Greenland Redpoll.
