Unknown bird call - France, Nr Grasse (1 Viewer)

Hi
I’ve spent some time in the south of France, close to Grasse. I regularly hear this bird call but none of my bird call is apps comes up with anything. I don’t think it’s particularly rare but it’s just annoying me that I can’t identify it. Can anyone help clear this up for me?

Sounds just like the Collins recording of nuthatch song.

Perfect, I did have the thought that it was a nuthatch but hadn’t found a similar recording. I can sleep peacefully now. Thanks for your help, much appreciated
