Wasp - North Norfolk, UK (1 Viewer)

Could someone ID this for me please.
It was taken in October and looks to me like a Black-tipped Orange Ichneumon with the wrong coloured body which shows my lack of knowledge!

Looks a bit like the digger wasp Ammophila sabulosa to me and is not too late for it either.
