Blue and white swallow migration (1 Viewer)

For most of the summer months we have had Blue and white swallows nesting under the tiles in our house and adjacent buildings. Now together with hundreds of others they are flocking, apparently preparing to to migrate. My question is where are they likely to migrate to. We live in Armacao dos Buzios, Rio state, Brasil.

More general: the southernmost populations of this species are long distance migrants that "winter" (really, reach northern summer) in northern South America, Trinidad, and Central America to Mexico where rare. As a breeding bird, it reaches north to Costa Rica.
