Fuji F45fd Reduced in Argos (1 Viewer)

Hi just a note to say the Fuji Finepix F45fd has been reduced from £199 to £89 at argos until Tuesday 11th Dec.
I have reserved one today. Hope it will be as good as the F330/31fd for digiscoping.
Regards
Ian

I'd be interested to see your results. From what I understand the F31 Fd hit the sweet spot between megapixels and IQ particularly at higher ISO which is what you need for digiscoping. The later models have gradually crammed more and more megapixels but the overall IQ has suffered. I saw DPreview have just posted a review of the F50Fd and, even though the image quality is apparently a lot worse than the F31Fd (in particular at higher ISOs, which was the main selling point of the F31) it still managed to scrape a highly recommended. I think the general opinion on the forums over there was "what were they thinking?!"
